There's always nothing particular when I have to write a blog. Anyway, Today I'd like to talk about what I had seen and realized in Melbourne.
One of things that I realized is "Why so many homelesses in Melbourne?" Everyday, I see them sleeping on the streets and trying to take some money. Despite the cold weather in Melbourne, they don't have enough clothes to keep themselves warm. And they explain why they are a homeless toward pedestrians by using kind of something like a self-introduction card. I think that it's such a big issue in Melbourne, in addition, this obviously shows a decline in employment. But it doesn't happen due to just this reason. Some of people might have been facing domestic and family violence like sexual abuse, some of people might have experienced severe housing crisis, some of people might have broken all relationships. There's as many reasons as homelesses and people in Melbourne have to solve this serious problem as soon as possible.
Another thing I had seen is "Diversity of immigrants " Needless to say, Australia is famous for multiculturalism and the government has developed many policies for immigrants. Thanks to that, they can live in Australia easily and comfortably. I was surprised when I arrived in Australia because I thought that there were more people who are not immigrants. However I am enjoying to interact with a lot of people who came from other countries and I think it is important to know other country's culture and customs.
By the way, I am going to participate in the tour that I may be able to see wild koalas tomorrow. So I gotta go to bed to get up early.
